TIME TRAVEL 32 is all cine film starting at the third N.A.S.C. Street Rod Nationals held at Bisley 1977. This was the biggest rod run so far held in this country with 560 pre registered vehicles including Hot and Bothered, the Custom Car project Fiesta, Rob Whitwell’s Pinto powered ‘32 coupe, Adrian Sidwell’s Opus, Ray Christopher’s Milk Float, Mike Key’s B, and three more Model B’s entered by Jeff Beck...... Then on to the Surrey Street Rodder’s Wheels Day at Slyfield in 1979 including a Honda pickup with a V6 it the back complete with zoomies, Martin Kelly’s Desperado Jag T, Revenge and Martin Bonner’s high riding ‘55 Chevy etc. etc.... Next a look at the Gillingham custom show and the L.A. roadsters show at Walthamstow in 1979 and then the Detlin Show and Go which featured a short drag strip and burnout competition including Graham Barrs Neon Star and Doug Ripley’s Mustang. Then it’s Knebworth and the 1979 N.A.S.C. Street Rod Nationals including Brian Lucas’s ‘32 roadster and Roger Hamilton’s A60 pickup Paul Haig’s ‘29 roadster, Mark Spooner’s Lemon Squash, Pip Biddlecombe’s Rubellion, The Sweeny, Boston Strangler, Street Machine’s project Rover, Richard King’s Kustom Victor, Tony Theron’s 60’s style T etc. etc.... Next a look at the Smoke City Wheeler’s run and the Victory Wheeler’s run in 1980 and finally back to Detlin for the 1980 Show and Go with Gary Belcher’s V12 T in the show department and in the go department Stu Valance who takes Henry Hirise for some wild rides.......
